I made a small (8 X 8) painting of this baby bird several years ago and it has spawned several renditions: this being the latest It is oil on canvas , 24 X 36. Created for a large mental health facility in Connecticut.
Very excited about it landing there. I love the possibility of narrative and metaphor that I see in this small bird clinging to the rocks…maybe ready for a first flight? Ready to take on the unknown?
